Frank has been a lifetime member of the Pointe au Baril community. His construction career was launched soon after school when he began working for local builders.  He made the decision to start his own company in 1971.

Stemming from this entrepreneurial effort, the company has grown over the years to be the highly respected build and maintenance company it is today.  Frank’s son Richard worked for the company during summer months and joined the company after he completed his degree. This family-run business didn’t stop there – Kristen, Richard’s wife, also works for the company as the office manager. 

Frank Penfold Building Contractor Limited has grown largely by word of mouth.  Frank runs his business as an “everything, including the kitchen sink” operation – namely, no job is too big or too small.  From small building projects, custom-built cottages on Georgian Bay, maintenance and anything in between, Frank approaches each project with the same level of high quality service.  In addition, his dedicated and skilled group of employees have established excellent working relationships with licensed sub-trades, respected architects and engineers.
